On the occasion of International Women\u2019s Day, ANASA participated in the \u201cTrue Blue \u2013 Alithin\u00f3 Ble\u201d festival, held at the City of Athens Arts Center, an important initiative by the Municipality of Athens and visual artist Georgia Lale. @georgia_lale_studio<\/p>\n
As part of the festival, ANASA\u2019s President, Zeta Douka @zetadouka, and the Director of the ANASA Day Center, Mary Siganou, spoke about the importance of awareness and prevention of Eating Disorders, highlighting ANASA\u2019s continuous work over the past 18 years in supporting individuals affected and their families.<\/p>\n
This was followed by a presentation focused on raising awareness and providing information about Eating Disorders, delivered by ANASA Day Center Psychologist Eftychia Psyllou and Nutritionist Rafaela Makri.<\/p>\n
Through art, public dialogue, and the collaboration of organizations active in women\u2019s empowerment, the festival highlighted the need for respect, equality, prevention, and collective awareness.<\/p>\n
The message is shared and clear:
Society moves forward only when there is unity, solidarity, and genuine care for one another.
We all have a place in this world, and that place deserves to be protected.<\/p>\n
