ANASA Joins EYDAP’s Event in Honor of International Women’s Day
Breath (ΑΝΑΣΑ) and Water (EYDAP): A Celebration of Women’s Strength and Beauty
Breath—the very essence that keeps us alive—merged with water, the source of life, in a special event dedicated to International Women’s Day, a day that honors the strength and beauty of womanhood.
@anasa.com.gr, invited by EYDAP @eydapgr, took part in this meaningful event. Through the voices of its president, Zeta Douka, and child psychiatrist Kelly Marouda from the Eating Disorders Center, ANASA sensitively addressed the issue of eating disorders, the organization’s ongoing mission and contribution over the past 18 years, and the role of women in today’s society.
They highlighted the importance of women’s presence in leadership positions and the persistent gender inequality stereotypes that still hinder true equality. They also emphasized the need to eliminate these biases entirely from our collective mindset.
ANASA, an organization primarily composed of women—with a 50% female representation on its Board of Directors—understands firsthand the value of support, empathy, and love in addressing our needs. These elements are essential for us to thrive, grow, and bring out the best in ourselves in all that we do.
Above all, we must learn to love ourselves more with each passing year because only then can we truly flourish and fully experience life.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the president and the Board of Directors of EYDAP for their warm welcome and congratulations to everyone involved for an impeccably organized and meaningful event.
Special thanks to journalist Maria Akrivou @maria.akrivou for her exceptional coordination of the event.
